Most pieces are completed within approximately one week when the queue is clear. During busier periods it may take a little longer — we'll always give you an honest timeframe when you commission. We work through orders one at a time, giving every piece the full attention it deserves. We don't rush. We never will.

Live-edge timber is a slab of wood where one or both edges retain the natural profile of the original tree — the bark line, curves, knots and organic contours are left intact rather than being cut square. No two live-edge slabs are the same, which means every piece we make is truly one of a kind.

We primarily work with Australian hardwoods recovered from fallen trees — Blackwood, River Red Gum, Spotted Gum, Camphor Laurel, and Silky Oak are among our most common species. Availability changes as new timber is recovered. When you submit your commission brief, we'll match you with the best available slab for your project.

100%. We never fell a tree. Every slab we work with comes from trees that have already fallen — storm-cleared, road-cleared, or naturally felled from properties and bushland across Australia. The timber is recovered, milled into slabs, and air-dried for 12–24 months in our workshop before we consider it for a commission. Zero trees felled. Zero waste.

Yes — we ship Australia wide. Our workshop is in Canberra, ACT, but we work with clients in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and everywhere in between. All pieces are carefully packed and delivered direct to your door. Freight costs are included in your quote.

Yes. Every piece comes with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects. Timber is a natural material and will expand, contract, and develop character over time — this is part of what makes each piece unique, not a defect. We're always available after delivery if you have questions about care and maintenance.
